CONSENT AGENDA
All matters listed under the Consent Agenda are considered to be routine by the Board of
City Commissioners and will be acted upon by one motion. There will be no separate
discussion of these items unless discussion is desired by a member of the Commission,
in which case the Mayor will instruct the City Clerk to remove that item from the Consent
Agenda and such item will be considered separately.
A. Acceptance and Approval of Minutes of Regular Commission Meeting of April 5,
1994.
B. Approval and Authorization to Use $2,000 from Forfeiture Funds to Purchase
Night Sights for Police Duty Weapons.
C. Approval and Authorization for Mayor and City Clerk to Execute Developer's
Agreement for Water Service-White Road Joint Venture (Shoal Creek).
D. Approval and Authorization for Mayor and City Clerk to Execute Developer's
Agreement for Sewer Service-White Road Joint Venture (Shoal Creek).
E. Approval and Acceptance of Shoal Creek - Final Subdivision Plans.
F. Authorization for City Attorney to Bring Circuit Court Action in Code

Telephone Equipment, $4,900 to Motorola for Relocating and Testing, and
$4,408.50 for Protective Inspections and Utility Counter.

PUBLIC HEARINGS
A. Second Reading of Ordinances
1. Ordinance No. 94-04, relating to changing the date for municipal election
and qualifying dates.
2. Ordinance No. 94-05, relating to and amending the General Employees'
Retirement Trust Fund to include cross-credits for vesting, to provide for
purchase of credited service for Family/Medical Leave Act, and to provide
for direct transfers of eligible rollover distributions.
3. Ordinance No. 94-06, relating to and amending the Police Officers' and
Firefighters' Retirement Trust Fund to include cross-credits for vesting, to
exclude from disability benefits for new members for disabilities resulting
from pre-existing conditions, to provide for purchase of credited service for
Family/Medical Leave Act, and to provide for direct transfers of eligible
rollover distributions.
4. Ordinance No. 94-07, relating to the Police Officers' and Firefighters'
Retirement Trust Fund to provide for a retirement incentive window.
5. Ordinance No. 94-08, relating to the General Employees' Retirement Trust
Fund to provide for a retirement incentive window.
VI. OTHER BUSINESS
A. First Reading of Ordinances. Second Readings and Public Hearings are
Scheduled for May 3, 1994 at 7:30 p.m.
1. Ordinance No. 94-09, relating to nuisances, weeds, grasses and abandoned
or unsafe swimming pools.
2. Ordinance No. 94-10, relating to hours of operation of parking lot sweeper.
3. Ordinance No. 94-11, rezoning per Case No. l-IR:Glad Tidings.
4. Ordinance No. 94-12, relating to single member districting boundary
changes.
B. Resolution No. 94-08, authorizing signatures on bank accounts.
C. Appointments to Boards
1. Board of Adjustment - Bruce Beatty and Bob Colburn terms expire May
1994.
2. Citizens Advisory Council for Police Department - Truman Stearns resigned
