Home My WebLink About10-28-2003 Minutes L MINUTES OF THE CITY OF OCOEE CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD MEETING OCTOBER 28, 2003 CALL TO ORDER Vice-Chairman Lenko called the regular meeting of the Ocoee Code Enforcement Board to order at 7:05 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall. Vice-Chairman Lenko led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and Member Donenfeld led the Invocation. The roll was called and a quorum was declared present. PRESENT: Vice-Chairman Lenko, Members Chancey, Donenfeld, Godek, and Henderson. Also present were Building & Zoning Official Phelps, Enforcement Officers Braddy-Bagwell, Loeffler and Siegrist, Zoning Inspector Dunford, Permitting Clerk Ramos, Attorney Sneed, and Deputy City Clerk Maxwell. ABSENT: Chairman Linebarier, Members Konicek, Skiles and Stanley who were excused. CONSENT AGENDA ALL MATTERS LISTED UNDER THE CONSENT AGENDA ARE CONSIDERED TO BE ROUTINE BY THE CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD AND WILL BE ACTED UPON BY ONE MOTION. THERE WILL BE NO SEPARATE DISCUSSION OF THESE ITEMS UNLESS DISCUSSION IS DESIRED BY A MEMBER OF THE BOARD,IN WHICH CASE THE CHAIRMAN WILL INSTRUCT THE BOARD CLERK TO REMOVE THE ITEM FROM THE CONSENT AGENDA AND SUCH ITEM WILL BE CONSIDERED SEPARATELY. Code Enforcement Officer Loeffler presented exhibits, gave a detailed history of the case and stated the property is in compliance. Member Chancey, seconded by Member Godek, moved in Case No. 03-003051 to find the Respondent in violation of Sections 108-23E, 115-3, and 108-22 as of September 4, 2003, but in compliance as of October 8, 2003, and no fine or penalty imposed. Motion carried 5-0. L 4 Code Enforcement Board Minutes October 28,2003 L OTHER BUSINESS Vice-Chairman Lenko announced there was a Release of Lien for Case No. 02-063. Member Godek, seconded by Member Donenfeld, moved to cancel the December 2003, Code Enforcement Board Meeting. Motion carried 5-0. COMMENTS Building Official Phelps - Said that in Case No. 02-063 the Ocoee City Commission had the recommendation of the Code Enforcement Board regarding the fine of $106 and they when with the original recommendation of fine of$500. Attorney Sneed - Said when the City of Ocoee wishes to dismiss or withdraw a case, no action of the Code Enforcement Board is required.
