Work as outlined in the Attachment "A" is to be completed in sixty (60) days. The costs for the work products are the fixed fee of $8,595 and reimbursables not to exceed $75. Staff recommends that the Honorable Mayor and Board of City Commissioners ( 1) approve Work Order No. 1 in the amount of $8595 with an additional reimbursable cost not to exceed $75, and (2) authorize the Honorable Mayor to execute the Work Order No. 1. MB/sas WORK ORDER FOR ARCHITECT SERVICES AGREEMENT WORK ORDER NO. 1 PROJECT: EXPANSION OF CITY HALL AND POLICE DEPARTMENT CITY: OCOEE, FL ARCHITECT: PDR ARCHITECTS , INC . Execution of the Work Order by City shall serve as authorization of ARCHITECT to provide for the above project , professional services as set out in the documents which are attached hereto and made a part hereof . ATTACHMENTS: [X ] Space Needs Study/Plan Finalization/ Site Plan Development, Dated October 1 , 1991 . ARCHITECT shall provide said services pursuant to this Work Order, its attachment and that certain Agreement of October 01 , 1991 , between CITY and ARCHITECT which is incorporated herein by reference as if it had been set out in its entirety. Whenever the Work Order conflicts with said Agreement , the Agreement shall prevail . TIME FOR COMPLETION: The work authorized by this Work Order shall be completed within sixty ( 60 ) days from the date this Work Order is executed by the CITY. COMPENSATION: The CITY shall compensate ARCHITECT a negotiated fixed fee in the amount of EIGHT THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY FIVE DOLLARS ( $ 8 , 595 . 00 ) , reimbursables not to exceed SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ( $75 . 00 ) for the service required under this Work Order. ARCHITECT shall perform all work required by this Work Order; but , in no event , shall ARCHITECT be paid more than the fixed fee set forth above . Through meetings and reviews with the City's Department heads, the Architect shall prepare a Space Needs Study to project and determine space requirements for January 1993, 1998 and 2003. 2. Based on the findings of the Space Needs Study, the Architect shall prepare a proposed Scope of Work that does not exceed the City's construction budget of $1,700,000. This proposed Scope of Work shall be presented and reviewed with the City Commission in a work session with formal approval and adoption in a regular meeting. 3. Concurrent with the preparation of the proposed Scope of Work, the Architect shall prepare a maximum of three (3) different site masterplan scenarios in conjunction with the City's Civil Engineer and which do not exceed the City's construction budget. These scenarios shall be presented to the City Commission simultaneously with the proposed Scope of Work. 4. With direction from the City Commission, the Architect shall further develop the selected site plan into its final schematic form. 5. The Architect be reimbursed for the actual cost of reproductions on City requested copies of the above items. These expenses are estimated not to exceed $75.00 for up to 15 copies.
