T. HSU & ASSOCIATES - WORK ORDER NO 4, CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS PHASE Work Order No. 4 for Construction Documents Phase requests compensation for the third phase of the expansion of City Hall and the Police Department . Work as outlined in the Attachment "A" is to be completed in 45 days. The cost for the work product is the fixed fee of $44,800 . 00 with no reimbursables. Staff recommends that the Honorable Mayor and Board of City Commissioners (1 ) approve Work Order No. 4 in the amount of $44,800 . 00 with no additional reimbursable cost, and (2 ) authorize the Honorable Mayor and City Clerk to execute the Work Order No. 4 . MB: fdg Attachment /maywork4 WORK ORDER FOR ARCHITECT SERVICES AGREEMENT WORK ORDER NO. 4 PROJECT: EXPANSION OF CITY HALL AND POLICE DEPARTMENT CITY: OCOEE, FLORIDA ARCHITECT: C. T. HSU & ASSOCIATES Execution of the Work Order by City shall serve as authorization of ARCHITECT to provide for the above project, professional services as set out in the documents which are attached hereto and made a part hereof. ATTACHMENTS: [ x ] Construction Documents Phase ARCHITECT shall provide said services pursuant to this Work Order, its attachment and that certain Agreement of July 6 , 1992, between CITY and ARCHITECT which is incorporated herein by reference as if it had been set out in its entirety. Whenever the Work Order conflicts with said Agreement, the Agreement shall prevail. TIME FOR COMPLETION: The work authorized by this Work Order shall be completed within forty-five (45 ) days from the date this Work Order is executed by the CITY. COMPENSATION: The CITY shall compensate ARCHITECT a negotiated fixed fee in the amount of FORTY FOUR THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS ($44,800 . 00 ) with no reimbursables for the service required under this Work Order. ARCHITECT shall perform all work required by this Work Order; but, in no event, shall ARCHITECT be paid more than the fixed fee set forth above. Based on the approved Design Development Documents and any further adjustments in the scope or quality of the Project or in the construction budget authorized by the Owner, the Architect shall prepare, for approval by the Owner, Construction Documents consisting of Drawings and Specifications setting forth in detail the requirements for the construction of the Project. B. The Architect shall assist the Owner in the preparation of the necessary bidding information, bidding forms, the Conditions of the Contract, and the form of Agreement between the Owner and Contractor. C. The Architect shall advise the Owner of any adjustments to previous preliminary estimates of Construction Cost indicated by changes in requirements or general market conditions. D. The Architect shall assist the Owner in connection with the Owner' s responsibility for filing documents required for the approval of governmental authorities having jurisdiction over the Project .
