Shira, P.E. City Engineer/Utilitie irector SUBJECT: Albertson's Shopping Center Right-of-Way Transfer As part of the development of this project, a parcel of land lying along Silver Star Road was deeded by the developer to the City of Ocoee for road right-of-way. Since Silver Star Road is a state highway, the property should have been deeded to the state. In order for the developer to receive the DOT permit required, DOT requires that the property be transferred from the City to the State. The attached Quit Claim deed and Transfer of Interest form accomplish the required transfer. I recommend that the City Commission authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign these forms as described in the attached letter from the Assistant City Attorney.
