At this meeting, several local residents protested the Special Exception including Commissioner Jim Gleason representing the City of Ocoee . In accordance with Orange County regulations , this action will be final unless an appeal is filed with the Zoning Department within 15 days (May 20th) . The fee for this appeal is $137 .00 . Once an appeal is filed, another Public Hearing will be scheduled before the entire Board of County Commissioners to affirm or deny the Board of Adjustment action. The City Commission may wish to consider whether or not an appeal should be filed in this case on behalf of the City of Ocoee . RW/ek Attachments 10. (unanimous) SYNOPSIS: The Staff Report on this case in on Page 10A through 10E. The property owner to the west indicated he was not notified of this request. After researching the notification records, staff confirmed this property owner was correct and that he was not notified. The Board continued the request to provide for proper notification and advised the applicant to meet with the area residents regarding any concerns they may have. Gorovitz i representing Southern Bell Mobility, Inc. to review a request to construct a 193-foot high communications tower with a 420 sq. ft. prefabricated unmanned equipment building. The property is zoned A-1 and is located approximately 900 ft 1 of Hackney-Prairie Road and 1, 200 ft. west of Apopka-Vineland ...::u_ , The tract size is 9. 6 acres +/-. The applicant intends to lease a 50 ft. by 95 ft. area at the rear (west side) of the parent parcel for the proposed tower. Access will be from a proposed access-easement to the north leading to Hackney-Prairie Road. Applicant ws advised that access improvements, including but not limited to, paving Hackney-Prairie Road, may be required but will be determined during the permitting stages. The closest residential area is approximately 450 ft. to the west in the Forest Oaks Subdivision. An 8.4 acre parcel and a 60 ft. wide railroad right-of-way separates the tower from the Forest Oaks residential subdivision to the west. It is not known whether there will be any opposition to this request. If the Board approves this request, the following conditions should be imposed: 1. Per site plan dated "Received June 23 , 1993" ; 2. Access improvements shall be determined by the County Engineer; 3 . Obtain permits within one (1) year from the date of Board approval; 4.
