Frank x1500 Reviewed By: Department Director: City Manager: ~ ---- Subject: Release and Agreement for Consulting Services with the Human Resources Director Background Summary: The City Manager has determined it is in the best interests of the City to devise a Release and Agreement to transition the position of Human Resources Oirector to a contractual position for a maximum period of three months. The full-time HR Oirector position will be vacant during this period, and the position will be evaluated for its future relationship within the City Managerial structure. Issue: Oevelopment and execution of a Release and Agreement with the Human Resources Oirector to transition to a contractual position for a maximum period of three months. Recommendations Authorize City Manager to complete a Release and Agreement to transition the Human Resources Director to a contractual position ending no later than May 11, 2005 at a non-budgeted, not-to-exceed cost of $20,500 and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the Release and Agreement. Attachments: N/A Financial Impact: Not-to-exceed $20,500. Funds are available from the Fire Oepartment personal expenses, as one Assistant Chief position has been deleted this fiscal year.
