Issue: The Utilities/Engineering Department requests that the Ocoee Mayor and City Commission approve the plat for the Ocoee Commons PUD development. Recommendations City Staff recommends that the City Commission approve the final plat of Ocoee Commons PUD as submitted, authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the plat and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute (1) the Conservation Easement, (2) the Assignment and Assumption Agreement, and (3) the Termination of Easement. The Utilities/Engineering Department requests that the Ocoee Mayor and City Commission approve the Ocoee Commons PUD Development. BACKGROUNDIDISCUSSION This plat is for Ocoee Commons PUD, which consists of 74.29 acres of single family, multi-family and commercial development. Ocoee Commons PUD is located at the northeast corner of Colonial Drive (State Road 50) and Blackwood Avenue. All required documentation pertaining to the platting of this development has been reviewed and approved by City staff. The developer has posted a Letter of Credit in the amount of 115% of cost of the uncompleted work. The value of that amount is $1,478,425.00. This is a standard requirement in platting a development prior to the completion of all construction. The two-year Maintenance Bond will be furnished to the City at the time of Certificate of Completion.
