The TLC is used for monitoring tank levels and deliveries from the convenience from desktop workstation. The Aboveground Storage Tanks are fitted with a Level Detector Unit (LDU) that supports a transmitter. The transmitter is linked via Radio Frequency (RF) communications to the TLC device. The TLC device is a wall-mounted unit designed to work as a stand-alone unit or in conjunction with an existing Trak Fuel Management System. The TLC comes standard with one (1) LDU and has the capability to control up to 4 LDUs. Because there is no conduit or special electrical wiring needed for installation, factory installation is not needed or required. Simple take the LDU and replace the cap of one of the ports on the tank, then mount the TLC within 200 feet of the tank. The Tank Level Communicator comes with customized software for reporting levels; deliveries along with high and low limit alarms. The TLC can also interface with existing Fuel Management Software allowing users the ability to schedule reports and poll via a standard grade phone line. il ." .l r I l Features ./ Controls up to four (4) Level Detector Units (probes) ./ Product level measurement ./ Programmable to perform up to four (4) tank level readings per day ./ Customized Software Reporting Package ./ User interface with existing Trak Fuel Management Software, WinCC ./ RS232 link to standard PC ./ Probes built with extruded aluminum- virtually weatherproof. ./ Radio Keypad mounts in nearest shelter. ./ 16 x 2 Liquid Crystal Display readout ./ 15 character keypad TLC used for inventory control not leak detection Accuracy +/-1% of total tank Benefits · Improve inventory control and reduce losses · Eliminate the need for manual dipping · Validation of product deliveries · Reporting capabilities · Designed for sites with gasoline or diesel storage Visit our WEBSITE @ http:\\www.trakeng.com Page: 2 ItiI I TANK LEVEL COMMUNICATOR - TLC OPERATIONAL Measured Values Certification t Power Consumption Product Height Ul Intrinsic Safety Approval for Class I, II, III Division I, Group C,D,E,F & G (Pending) .000010 amps @ 5VDC Sleep .010 amps @ 5VDC Measuring .300 amps @ 5VDC During wireless transmission 7.2VDC typical +/- 10% 5 Years Wireless - ISM Band frequency hopping Input Voltage Battery Life Communication ENVIRONMENTAL o eratin Tem erature Stora e Tem erature Pressure Ratin Enclosure PERFORENCE Probe Sense Method level Accuracy level Repeatability level Range Temperature Auto level Times COMMUNICATION Wireless Ran e U to 200 feet 1 The ISM band is an unlicensed band that is shared by many other users.
