301 Maguire Road Quote
Ocoee, FL 34761
Dear Judy:
Trak Engineering, Inc. is pleased to provide the following quotation for a Tank Level
Communicator - TLC and Disconnecting the Trak system at Enterorise Street
and Reconnecting it at the new site at Maguire Road.
The TLC automates tank level reporting for above ground tanks. Purchase of a TLC
unit includes one Level Detector Unit - LDU. The LDU is the probe that will read the
level of one (1) product/tank. One TLC can control up to 4 LDUs. Detail information
is attached. Because there is no conduit or special electrical wiring needed for
installation, factory installation is not required. Simple take the LDU and replace the
cap of one of the ports on the tank, then mount the TLC within 200 feet of the tank. I
did provide a quote for Trak installation if desired.

Tank Level Communicator - TLC
The Tank Level Communicator system is specifically
designed for use with Aboveground Storage Tanks for
bulk inventory control and is the most cost-effective unit
on the market today. The TLC is used for monitoring tank
levels and deliveries from the convenience from desktop
workstation.
The Aboveground Storage Tanks are fitted with a Level
Detector Unit (LDU) that supports a transmitter. The
transmitter is linked via Radio Frequency (RF)
communications to the TLC device. The TLC device is a
wall-mounted unit designed to work as a stand-alone unit or in conjunction with an
existing Trak Fuel Management System. The TLC comes standard with one (1) LDU
and has the capability to control up to 4 LDUs.
Because there is no conduit or special electrical wiring needed for installation, factory
installation is not needed or required. Simple take the LDU and replace the cap of one
of the ports on the tank, then mount the TLC within 200 feet of the tank.
The Tank Level Communicator comes with customized software for reporting levels;
deliveries along with high and low limit alarms. The TLC can also interface with
existing Fuel Management Software allowing users the ability to schedule reports and
poll via a standard grade phone line.

The ISM band is an unlicensed band that is shared by many other users. This may limit its
effectiveness in densely populated urban areas. Range is also greatly affected by other
environmental conditions such as nearby building, intervening structures, geography, etc.
The 200 foot range can be normally expected in most situations but cannot be guaranteed.
