Issue:
The Engineering Department requests that the Mayor and City Commission approve the plat of

City Staff recommends approval of plat of Goodman Centre as submitted and authorize the Mayor
and City Clerk to sign the plat.

ISSUE
The Engineering Department requests that the Mayor and City Commission approve the Goodman
Centre development.
BACKGROUNDIDISCUSSION
Goodman Centre development is located at the northwest corner of State Road 50 (Colonial Drive)
and Clarke Road. This plat is for a commercial development which includes existing Kane's
Furniture, another 5 vacant lots, a lift station, a conservation area and the associated master surface
water management system, which consist of 30.49 acres. All required documentation pertaining to
the platting of this development has been reviewed and approved by City staff.
The Conservation area (Tract A) and lift station (Tract C), as shown on Plat Sheet 2 of 2 will be
dedicated to City of Ocoee for ownership, operation and maintenance.
