Subject: Approval of Richfield Subdivisions MVP Grant Application
Background Summary:
At the City Commission Meeting on March 1, 2005, the Commission approved allowing the
Richfield Subdivision to submit a late MVP Grant application as there was still funding remaining
within the account. However, Commission made it contingent upon the project coming back before
Commission for approval prior to implementation.
Issue:
Should the City Commission approve the Richfield Subdivision's project of erecting a fence to close
in their retention pond in the amount of$1850.00 as part of the city's MVP grant program?
Recommendations
Staff recommends approving the MVP Application from the Richfield Subdivision as it meets all of
the MVP criteria, stays within the maximum threshold for MVP grant awards amount of $2500, and
has followed the city's purchasing policies. Funds will be expended from the neighborhood
matching grant funds line item 001-512-01-8206.
