RE: TWO WEEK EXTENSION OF FREE LYNX BUS SERVICE
Pursuant to the request of the Mayor, below are the accounts available to take the
$2,000.00 from to fund the additional two weeks of LYNX service:
City Commission-Legislative
Mayor/Commission Fund $ 4,908.00
Reserve from Contingency $52,480.00
While the continued funding of the LYNX bus service may be a good idea, I would like to
caution the City Commission regarding the expenditure of funds not planned and, therefore,
not budgeted.
With the limited amount of money in Contingency, caution should be taken to be
conservative in our expenses.
