The bids were advertised on May 24, 1998, and were publicly opened on June 18, 1998. Responses were received from: 1) Advanced Digital Cutting Systems - $15,900.00. 2) Chromatek-No Bid. 3) Manchester Equipment-No Bid. 4) Florida Transcore -No Bid. The bids were reviewed by the Public Works and Finance Departments. Staff recommends awarding this bid to Advanced Digital Cutting Systems, per the attached memo from Bob Smith,Public Works Director. Mike Keller and Cary Bertling visited St. Cloud's traffic shop and observed what the system does and concur that this is the system we want to purchase.
