FROM: Ellis Shapiro, City Manager
RE: Florida League of Cities Voting Delegate
I have been advised by the Mayor that he may or may not attend the Florida League of
Cities conference scheduled for August 13, 1998 in Miami Beach. To this end, the
Mayor wishes to have an alternate voting delegate in case he is unable to attend this
conference. Commissioner Scott Anderson is the only other elected official attending
this conference. I recommend that Commissioner Scott Anderson be appointed as the
alternate voting delegate if Mayor Vandergrift is unable to attend.
