Shira, Community Relations/Projects Director Subject: Grant Application for the West Orange Christian Service Center Attached please find a grant application submitted by the West Orange Christian Service Center. They are seeking $5,000 from the City this year to help continue their programs which in turn help meet the ever increasing needs of many Ocoee residents. The West Orange Christian Service Center serves hundreds of people in the Ocoee-Winter Garden area and they estimate that 50 percent of them are Ocoee families and seniors. Their organization provides food and clothing, social services, and youth activities including tutoring and social programs. They are also asking the City of Winter Garden for assistance.
