To Whom It May Concern,
From July 31 to August 8, 1998, my teammates and I will represent the State of Florida in
the 14 and Under AAU Baseball Nationals to be played in Concord,North Carolina. Each player
must raise$1,000.00 to make this trip possible. I am seeking donations from area businesses like
yourself to help. I had a previous opportunity to take part in the Amateur Athletic Union(AAU)
Nationals at the age of l l which was an experience that I will never forget, I came home with the
Gold Metal. This year I am trying to be named to the All American Tournament Team, providing I
raise enough money to make the trip.
As you can see by the tournament date above, I am running out of time to raise the funds.
Any donation that you or your company may give will be greatly appreciated. Please make checks
payable to the Orlando Scorpions,mail to above address and please reference my name at the bottom
