SIR:
As president of the Ocoee Rotary club, I had appeared before
the Ocoee counsel meeting and presented a challenge to the Mayor
and members of the counsel to participate in the Our Rotary
Bicycle Safety Fest, taking place on October 27, 1996 at the new
West Oaks Mall. So far we have had only two members of the board
accept the challenge. I have once again been advise by the Mayor
and a member of the counsel to request a small amount of time at
your October 2, 1996 meeting a make a request to the counsel for
sponsorship of our event with a cash grant from the city in the
amount of $500.00.
It is requested that I be place on the agenda at this
meeting for the above stated purpose.
