SUBJECT: C. T. HSU & ASSOCIATES - WORK ORDER NO 2 ,
SCHEMATIC DESIGN
Work Order No. 2 for Schematic Design requests compensation for the
, first phase of the expansion of City Hall and the Police
Department. Work as outlined in the Attachment "A" is to be
completed in 45 days. The costs for the work products are the
'fixed fee of $16, 800 . 00 and reimbursables not to exceed $2 , 500. 00.
Staff recommends that the Honorable Mayor and Board of City
Commissioners ('1) approve Work Order No. 2 in the amount of
$16,800. 00 with an additional reimbursable cost not to exceed
$2,500. 00, and (2) authorize the Honorable Mayor and City Clerk to
execute the Work Order No. 2 .

WORK ORDER FOR
ARCHITECT SERVICES AGREEMENT
WORK ORDER NO. 2
PROJECT: EXPANSION OF CITY HALL AND POLICE DEPARTMENT
CITY: OCOEE, FLORIDA
ARCHITECT: C. T. HSU & ASSOCIATES
Execution of the Work Order by City shall serve as
authorization of ARCHITECT to provide for the above project,
professional services as set out in the documents which are
attached hereto and made a part hereof.
ATTACHMENTS:

ARCHITECT shall provide said services pursuant to this Work
Order, its attachment and that certain Agreement of July 6, 1992 ,
between CITY and ARCHITECT which is incorporated herein by
reference as if it had been set out in its entirety. Whenever the
Work Order conflicts with said Agreement, the Agreement shall
prevail.
TIME FOR COMPLETION: The work authorized by this Work Order
shall be completed within forty-five (45) days from the date this
Work Order is executed by the CITY.
COMPENSATION: The CITY shall compensate ARCHITECT a
negotiated fixed fee in the amount of SIXTEEN THOUSAND EIGHT
HUNDRED DOLLARS ($16, 800. 00) , reimbursables not to exceed TWO
THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($2 , 500. 00) for the service required
under this Work Order. ARCHITECT shall perform all work required
by this Work Order; but, in no event, shall ARCHITECT be paid more
than the fixed fee set forth above.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have made and executed
this Work Order on this day of , 19 , for
the purposes stated herein.

Scope of Work
SCHEMATIC DESIGN
A. The architect shall examine the existing City Hall structure
to determine the feasibility of incorporating it as part of
the police station.
B. The architect shall review with the Owner alternative
approaches to design and construction of the project.
C. Based on the mutually agreed-upon program, schedule and
construction budget requirements, the architect shall prepare,
for approval by the Owner, Schematic Design Documents
consisting of drawings and other documents illustrating the
scale and relationship of project components.
D. The architect shall submit to the Owner a preliminary estimate
of Construction Cost based on current area, volume or other
unit costs.
