SUBJECT: SURVEY - BOARDS OF THE CITY
Several weeks ago, the City Commission asked that staff create a questionnaire that
might be sent to our volunteer boards for their input as to what direction their boards
might take in the future and how we may improve and assist them in their efforts.
Attached is a copy of the survey for your review, advice, and approval.

CITY OF OCOEE BOARD MEMBER SURVEY
In order to provide a better understanding of the City of Ocoee Board functions and
needs we ask you to complete the following survey. Your participation in this
survey is most needed and appreciated. The City of Ocoee appreciates the services
provided by our Boards and we are committed to making your Board experience as
beneficial to you as possible. We have the utmost respect for all our Board
members.
1. On the Board you serve,what do you see as its primary need and function?
2. What training do you feel is necessary for members to effectively participate
on this Board.
3. If City of Ocoee is willing to pay for training sessions for all Board
members as the need arises. Would you be willing to participate in paid
training sessions? Would you have the time available to participate in
training sessions?
4. Do you feel your Board is heading in the right direction? What suggestions
do you have to improve the direction of the Board?
5. Do you feel your Board is effective? Please help us by responding with an
explanation of either a yes or no narrative.
6. Can you describe anything that a department that serves your board or the
Office of the City Clerk could do to assist in your Board process?
7. Can you describe anything the City Officials can do to assist in your Board
process?
