TO: The Honorable Mayor and City Commission

RE: COCA COLA PROPERTY
Pursuant to the information presented to you by our Mayor, Staff has met with
the Mayor to discuss a meeting with UCF to show them the Coca Cola property
as well as other possible sites within West Orange.
Included in this effort along with the Mayor has been Tom Bohn, Chamber
Director, Lester Dabbs, former Mayor and well known educator, and staff
members including Russ Wagner, Janet Shira, Jim Shira, Kevin Tartar, Jean
Grafton, and this writer.
It has been decided by this group that in order to guarantee the best possible
presentation to UCF, some money shall be necessary to put our best step
forward. We respectfully request that the City Commission authorize up to
$3,000 from contingency for this program. The current contingency budget has
$121,930.00.
