• Subject: Grant Application for the Ocoee Police Explorers
Attached please find a grant application submitted by the Ocoee Police Explorers. They are
seeking a $3,000 grant to purchase helmets and hold a bicycle safety clinic for children in the
Ocoee area. As an alternative to this request, they have suggested that the City pay for a total of
300 helmets towards this program.
As of October 26, the balance in the Community Promotions account is $18,950.

are held the first and third Tuesday of every month. To be placed on an Agenda, your grant
application must be received a minimum of one week before the scheduled Commission
