SUBJECT:
Presentation to City of "Golden 30" Award
We are requesting to place an item on the Commission Agenda for February 3, 2004
under Presentations for Kurt Heyman of Preferred Government Insurance Trust (PGIT)
and John Berner of Brown and Brown, Inc to present the City with the "Golden 30"
award.
The City is being presented with the award as a member of PGIT that has achieved a
forty percent (40%) or lower historical cumulative loss ratio in their Workers'
Compensation Program.
Debbie McDonald has coordinated this effort and I would like her to receive the award
on behalf of the City. We would also like to thank our employees for their efforts toward
making the City an accident free workplace. Without their participation in that safety
effort, we would not have achieved this award.
