RE: Re-appointment to Citizen Advisory Council for Ocoee Police Department
(3-year term) (Members must be either City residents or owners of real property
or businesses in Ocoee)
ISSUE
Should the Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners re-appoint Member Victoria Laney to the
Citizen Advisory Council for Ocoee Police Department?
BACKGROUNDIDISCUSSION
The term of Member Victoria Laney ended February 1, 2004, and she wishes to be considered
for reappointment. Ms. Laney has served since February of 2003 and has attended 6 out of 10
meetings during her current term. The four (4) meetings that she was unable to attend were all
excused absences.
RECOMMENDATION
Should they wish to do so, Staff respectfully recommends that the Honorable Mayor and City
Commissioners re-appoint Victoria Laney to continue to serve on the CACOPD Board and serve
another three-year term to end February 1, 2007.
