Re: ANNUAL BUDGET FY 2001/2002
Public Hearings and Workshop Dates
Attached is a proposed schedule for the annual budget process for the upcoming fiscal year. The
City Clerk has advised that we are not to schedule public hearings on Jewish Holy days. The
dates for the public hearings (9/6/01 and 9/24/01) have been reviewed by the City Manager and
do not conflict with the hearing dates for Orange County (9/4/01 and 9/20/01) nor the Orange
County School board (9/11/01). Based upon the aforementioned restrictions, dates for budget
workshops in August have been suggested for August 9, 13, and 15 (if needed). Calendars for
August and September indicating other city meetings are also attached to help you in your
decision making process.
Action Requested
Staff requests the Mayor and City Commissioners approve the dates suggested for the public
hearings and August budget workshops.
