Election of Mayor Pro Tem
The Charter provides in §C-9 that, at the first meeting following the swearing in of the
candidates elected at each general city election, the City Commission will choose one of its
members to serve as Mayor Pro Tern.
Action needed: Election of a Mayor Pro Tem

A list of City Commission Responsibilities on Board, Committees, and other groups is attached
for your review, should you wish to reassign any areas of responsibility at this time. Dates of
assignment are noted for each area. There are only two of these assignments that have a definite
ending date, neither of which needs to be considered at this time.
