Issue:
Add a Clock Tower and Monument Sign with a Water Fall and Pond.
Discussion:
Commissioner Johnson has requested a design and a price to build a Monument Sign with a
water feature and pond along with a Clock Tower, Benches and Brick Paving. An estimate for
the cost of this was obtained in the amount of$65,940.00.
This area could be dedicated to the memory of the Firefighters, Police Officers, and the
thousands of Citizens who lost their lives during 911.

This is a preliminary planning estimate and the final contract costs/ pricing for change order
must be coordinated between Wharton-Smith and WetStructures prior to processing any
changes.
Brick Paving-$13,000.00 (minus $7,800.00 if we use concrete paving)
New Sidewalk- 1,200.00 (north west side of brick paving).
Clock Tower- 12,750.00 (clock tower and pedestal).
Water Wall - 28,000.00 (WetStructure package including design/pond/sign/logo).
$54,950.00 construction
10,990.00 (overhead, profit, mgt 15%and 5% contingency)
$65,940.00 Total
