Parker, District 4 STAFF REPORT TO: The Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners FROM: Jean Grafton, City Clerk DATE: April 26, 2004 RE: Initial Appointments to Human Relations/Diversity Board (2-year terms after the initial appointments of staggered 1 and 2-year terms) (Members must be legal residents of the City) ISSUE Should the Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners appoint members to the Human Relations/Diversity Board(HRDB)? BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION On September 16, 2003, City Commission adopted Resolution No. 2003-21 establishing the Human Relations/Diversity Board and adopting By-Laws for the board. The Resolution provides that HRDB membership shall consist of no less than seven (7) members and no more than fifteen (15)members. Four applications have been submitted listing this board as the first or only choice and they are listed in the order received: Karen L.
