RE: Set Workshop Date for Discussion of Increasing Impact Fees
ISSUE
What date should the workshop to discuss the increasing of impact fees be set?
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Staff has completed the review of impact, building, and plan review fees. The results of these
reviews will be presented to the commission for discussion and direction during a workshop.
Staff suggests the workshop be held on April 22, 2004 and notices be sent to developers advisin�
them of the workshop. Staff anticipates the first reading of the ordinances to occur at the May 4
commission meeting, and the second reading and public hearing to occur at the May 18th
commission meeting.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the commission set April 22, 2004 as the date for the workshop.
