ISSUE
At the January 5, 2004, Education Commission Meeting, the members of that board agreed to
recommend that the City Commission remove one member from the Education Commission.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The member recommended for removal is Kori Mortenson. This recommendation is being made
due to attendance concerns. Ms. Mortenson has not attended an Education Commission Meeting
since June 2003.
For your information, Ms. Mortenson's term expires August 2004.
