Background Summary:
This project was originally submitted as the Foote Property, a 2.72 acre residential development
which consists of 4 residential lots and the extension of East Orlando Avenue west to the property's
western property line. The subdivision is located on the northwest corner of Bluford Avenue and
East Orlando Avenue.
The developer has submitted a request for a name change from the Foote Property to Slone
Landing. The request was approved by DRC on May 1, 2007. This project has submitted all
documentation for plat approval as Slone Landing.
Issue:
The City Staff requests that the Mayor and City Commission approve the name change for the
Foote Property to Slone Landing and also approve the plat for the Slone Landing residential
development.
Recommendations
City Staff recommends approval of the name change of the Foote Property to Slone Landing and
also the plat of Slone Landing as submitted and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the plat.
