Approval of the Minutes for the Regular City Commission Meeting held January 18, 2022. (City Clerk Sibbitt) 2. Approval of New Appointment to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. (City Clerk Sibbitt) Members of the Parks&Recreation Advisory Board serve three-year terms. Only those persons who are legal residents of the City of Ocoee,or who are members of a City sporting organization that utilize the Ocoee parks, shall be eligible for membership. The resolution provides that the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board shall consist of no less than three(3)and no more than nine(9)members.Currently,the board has six(6)members. One(1)application has been received by Eli Salhab who has shown an interest in being appointed to the Parks &Recreation Advisory Board for a term ending October 2025. 3. Approval of Orange County's Reappointment to the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) for a Four-Year Term. (Deputy Development Services Director/CRA Administrator Corless) As authorized by Section 163.357(1)(c)of the Florida Statutes,and as provided in the Interlocal Agreement with Orange County,the governing board of the City of Ocoee Community Redevelopment Agency shall consist of the five members of the City Commission plus two individuals appointed by the City Commission. Per the Interlocal Agreement with Orange County,one of the appointed members will be nominated by Orange County and appointed by the City Commission. The original four-year term of Randy June has ended. Orange County has reappointed Randy June to fill the next four-year term. 4. Approval of Payment for the 2022 Ocoee Music Festival Entertainment. (Parks and Recreation Director Johnson) The entertainment for the 2022 Ocoee Music Festival will include the headline act of Vanilla Ice on Friday, April 8, and Russell Dickerson and Walker Hayes on Saturday, April 9. The cost of Russell Dickerson totals $75,000,and the cost of Walker Hayes totals$55,000 both of which require approval from the City Commission, in accordance with the City of Ocoee Purchasing Rules and Regulations.Additional entertainers have also been retained, and include: Rob Base, Tone Loc, Tag Team, Freedom Williams of C&C Music Factory, Matt Stell and Will Banister;the cost for each of these individual entertainers falls under the dollar threshold for the City Manager to approve.Final payments for the entertainment will be made the day of each respective entertainer's performance or as otherwise agreed. Approval of the 2021-2022 Budget Equipment Purchases.(Public Works Director Krug) The City traditionally purchases vehicles and equipment through various competitively bid annual contracts. Public Works has researched pricing and has found the Florida Sheriffs Association, State of Florida, and Sourcewell bid contract continues to provide the lowest competitively bid pricing for vehicles and equipment utilizing competitively bid contracts.The approved budget includes the equipment purchases,priced through the Florida Sheriff's Association, Florida Department of Management Services, and Sourcewell (National Auto Fleet Group)bid contracts. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE -None SECOND READING OF ORDINANCE—PUBLIC HEARING 6. Second Reading of Ordinance for Guerrero Property at 1411 North Lakewood Avenue — Annexation & Rezoning; Project No(s): AX-11-20-95 & RZ-20-11-14. (Advertised in the West Orange Times on Thursday, January 20, 2022 and Thursday, January 27, 2022) (Zoning Manager Whitfield) The first reading of ordinance was held on January 18,2022.The subject property physical address is 1411 N. Lakewood Avenue and is located approximately 110 feet north of Wurst Road and 164 feet south of 13th Avenue.The site is approximately 0.17 acres and located within the City of Ocoee-Orange County Joint Planning Area(JPA).The subject parcel has one(1)existing single-family residence. No formal actions on matters will be taken during this meeting. No discussions regarding matters that may come before the City Commission at a future City Commission Meeting should be addressed during this meeting. As the purpose of the meeting is for the sharing of general announcements by members of the City Commission that are City-wide or District-wide, no public discussion/input is requested during this meeting.
