Special Meeting Held on July 1, 2021
CALL TO ORDER
Chairperson Garone called the meeting to order at 7:09 PM, in the Commission
Chambers of City Hall located at 150 N. Lakeshore Drive, Ocoee.
Member Lewis led the Pledge of Allegiance,there was no invocation. Recording Clerk
Serrano called roll and determined a quorum present.
Present: Chairperson Garone, Members Lewis, Brown, Hart,Meeks (arrived at 7:12 PM),
Moyer and Holt (both arrived at 7:15 PM).
Absent: Members Ball, Braunskill,Lomneck, Mann, and Griner.
9/11 MEMORIAL EVENT
Chairperson Garone updated the Board on the request to City Commission for funds
and waiver of fees associated with the event; nothing was awarded. Discussion ensued.
Chairperson Garone made a motion that the Police Department advertise the Memorial
Event, to be held on September 11, 2021, from 0830 AM-11 AM with the location to be
determined; seconded by Member Brown. The motion carried unanimously.
Chairperson Garone made a motion that he attend the July 20, 2021, City Commission
Meeting regarding the Memorial Event: seconded by Member Brown. The motion
carried unanimously.
