Members of the Citizen Advisory Council for Ocoee Police Department (CACOPD) serve a three-year term. The CACOPD Bylaws, Article 3 (Membership), allows no more than nine (9) members, and currently the Board has seven (7) members. An application has been received by Jim Moyer who has shown an interest in being appointed to the CACOPD for a three-year term ending January 2025. Issue: Should the Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners appoint Jim Moyer to the CACOPD with a term ending January 2025? Recommendations: Staff respectfully recommends the Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners consider appointing Jim Moyer to serve on the CACOPD with a term ending January 2025.
