Therefore, I am submitting my application to this board not only as a member of the veteran community but also as a member of the disabled community. Education: The final dissertation topic during my Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership program was Asian American stereotypes. This program including researching and writing the dissertation took me a total of seven years. During the first two years or more, however my research included both Hispanic American stereotypes and Asian American stereotypes because I intended to do a comparison. Unfortunately, I was informed that this type of comparative dissertation topic at my particular school was not allowable. Experience: Being a diversity board I would think that the personal experience with diversity of the applicant would be the primary consideration. Therefore, I am presenting the city with an overview of my personal experiences with diversity.
