Subject: Request to amend the name of Prairie Lakes Tract A to Reserve at Meadow Lake
and Reserve At Meadow Lake Plat Approval
Background Summary:
Prairie Lakes Tract A residential subdivision which is 44.19 acres and located on the northwest
corner of Clarke Road and A.D. Mims Road. The subdivision consists of 79 single family homes and
126 town homes with its associated amenities. The City Commission, on January 16, 2007,
reviewed and approved the Final Subdivision Plan for Prairie Lakes Tract A. Thereafter, the
property owner has requested a name change from Prairie Lakes Tract A to Reserve at Meadow
Lake in accordance with Ordinance 2001-18.
Issue:
Should the Mayor and City Commissioners approve a request to change the name of Prairie Lakes
Tract A to Reserve at Meadow Lake and approve the plat for Reserve at Meadow Lake residential
development.
Recommendations
The Community Development and Engineering Departments recommend approval of the following
actions:
1. The name change of Prairie Lakes Tract A to Reserve at Meadow Lake.
2. The plat for Reserve at Meadow Lake.

Request for Subdivision Name Change
Dear Russ:
Please disregard my previous letter on this same matter dated June 8, 2007.
Pursuant to Section 4-4(7) of the Ocoee Land Development Code, please let this letter serve as a
formal request by The Ryland Group, Inc. to change the legally assigned name of the above referenced
subdivision.
We would like the entire development to be caBed "The Reserve at Meadow Lake." We wish to record
one plat for both the single-family and townhome lots with this as the legal name.
We would appreciate you submitting our request for consideration by the DRC and City Commission.
