Background Summary:
Members of the Citizen Advisory Council for Ocoee Fire Department serve three-year terms. The Resolution
creating the Board allows fifteen (15) to twenty-five (25) members. The board currently has eleven (11) members.
One application was recently received from Fred Wilsen with an interest in serving on the board. No other
applications are on file.
Issue:
Should the Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners appoint Fred Wilsen to the Citizen Advisory Council for
Ocoee Fire Department (CACOFD)?
Recommendations
Staff recommends the City Commission consider appointing Fred Wilsen to the Citizen Advisory Council for
Ocoee Fire Department with a term ending January 1,2011.
