Proclamations am_LI"~ Q~~ lJrorlnmntion W~QeltC!ED, 'QI::he City of Ocoee is blessed with a multitude of families-an essential part of the cultural, social and spiritual fabric of our community; and W~QeltQeU, m:he City of Ocoee Commissioners recognizes that strong families are at the center of communities; that children live better lives when their families are strong; and that families are strong when they live in communities that connect them to economic opportunities, social networks, and services; and W~QeltQeU, QEveryone has a role to play in making families successful, including neighborhood organizations, businesses, non-profit agencies, policymakers, and of course families themselves; and W~QeltQeD, 11Buring the Week of October 25th through November 151 2008, City of Ocoee residents should take time to honor the importance of families and recommit to enhancing and extending the special connections that support and strengthen them, throughout the year; and W~C!EltC!fU, 11Buring this week, City of Ocoee residents will join other agencies and organizations throughout the country to honor and celebrate our families; 1/M,.. 7~. That the City of Ocoee does encourage all citizens, city government officials and employees to do everything possible to ensure that this week is recognized and celebrated accordingly. Section 2. Section 3. That the City of Ocoee does encourage educational partnerships between city government and schools.
