MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD HELD
JANUARY $, 1974
Members Present: Bowness, Brooklyn, Schmoldt, Carter, Thomas,
Lait and McRobert.
Members Absent: None.
The meeting of the Planning and Zoning Board was called to order
by Mr. Bowness at 7:10 P. M.
1. Wade Blackburn came before the board in reference to Petition
73 -7, requesting rezoning from R -1 to C -1. Mr. Blackburn
wishes to pursue his application for change in zoning.
Mr. Thomas made the motion that the City receive approval
from the attorney that all material is in order and to go
ahead and set a date for a public hearing on said petition.
Mr. Lait seconded the motion. Motion carried. No nays.
2. Discussion of a time change for Planning and Zoning Board
Meetings was held. Mr. Lait made the motion to accept
7 :30 P. M. as regular meeting time. Mr. McRobert seconded
the motion. Motion carried. No nays.
3. Mr. Schmoldt requested resignation from the board since he
will be moving to Virginia due to a change in jobs. The
board accepted his resignation unanimously with January 8, 1974
being Mr. Schmoldt's last meeting.
Mr. Lait made the motion to adjourn, seconded by Mr. Brooklyn.
Being no further business, meeting adjourned at 7:35 P. M.
