PZ 05-13-1975 MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD l w HELD MAY 13, 1975 MEMBERS PRESENT: Bowness, Brooklyn, Carter, McRobert, Turner and Thomas. MEMBERS ABSENT: Lait. Meeting was called to order by Mr. Bowness at 7:55 P. M. 1. Mrs. Lucille Browder came before the board in regards to selling her house on 670 Kissimmee Avenue. The property is zoned I -1. Mrs. Browder asked the board if she could sell the house under the I -1 zoning with the stipulations that now stand on the property. The members of the board told Mrs. Browder that she could sell the property under said zoning as long as the existing building was going to remain. 2. Mr. James Crosby, Jr. appeared before the board requesting permission to live in a mobile home temporarily on the McTeer estate just off of Lyman St. until he can build his house on said property. ir Mr. Bowness told Mr. Crosby that the board would need to review the legal description, plot plans and house plans before making any decision and requested that Mr. Crosby bring said information to the next regular meeting on the 27th of May. 3. Bobbie Meeks came before the board with plat plans for the annexation and zoning of his property on SR 437. After much discussion, the board indicated that they would need to review the plans further before having Mr. Meeks make an application for the type of zoning needed. Mr. Bowness told Mr. Meeks that the board would work up a letter of recommendation regarding the type of zoning he should apply for and requested his presence at the meeting on the 27th of May. 4. Discussion was held on whether or not Mr. James Crosby, Sr. met the full requirements and stipulations on his property (located North 467.79 qt. of the East 468 F. Seegar Subdivision) in which a 120 day permit was issued/ for temporary usage of a mobile home until a house was constructed on said property. Members of the board indicated that Mr. Crosby has never built his house which should have been built three years ago when the permit was issued. Mr. McRobert motioned that the City Management investigate to see if Mr. Crosby complies to the regulations for the usage of a mobile home. Mr. Carter seconded. Vote unanimous. Motion carried. Mr. McRobert motioned that the City Management review any other violators using the Crosby case for an example and bring such violators before the board for further action. Mr. Turner seconded. No nays. Motion carried. lw Mr. McRobert motioned that the City Commission instruct the Building Inspector to attend the Planning and Zoning meetings unless previous commitments are made. Mr. Turner seconded. Mr. Thomas motioned to table Mr. McRobert's motion until the next regular meeting for review. Mr. McRobert withdrew his motion to instruct the Building Inspector's presence at the meetings of the Planning and Zoning Board and seconded Mr. Thomas'. Vote unani- mous. 5. The Zoning Board recommended to the City Commission that Valencia and Palm Mobile Home Parks follow through with their plans regarding recreational areas. Mr. McRobert motioned to adjourn.
