PZ 07-08-1975 MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD
HELD JULY 8, 1975
MEMBERS PRESENT: CHAIRMAN BOWNESS, BROOKLYN, TURNER, CARTER,
LAIT, THOMAS, MCROBERT.
ABSENT: NONE.
Meeting called to order at 7:47 P. M. by Chairman
Bowness.
1. Cliff Freeman appeared before the Board in reference
to Petition 75 -2, a petition requesting a change of zoning on
Valencia and Palms Mobile Home Parks from R -T to R -T2. R -T2
zoning constitutes a high density area consisting of mobile
homes on single lots for sale to individual owners.
City Manager advised the Board to read the proposed
agreement and make sure said agreement was suitable before
setting a date for a public hearing.
Much discussion was held. Mr. Thomas recommended a
work session with the Council at the next regular meeting
before the next regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning
Board is held. He also suggested a possible date of August
12th for a public hearing.
The Board read the deed restrictions and reviewed each
item listed on the agreement to enable each member to under-
stand them thoroughly before making any recommendations.
Mr. Turner motioned that item f. of proposed agreement
read that as each lot in the mobile home parks is sold, 10%
instead of 5% of the gross cost be placed in an escrow account
requiring signatures of both parties (City of Ocoee and owners
of Parks) to withdraw monies. Thomas recommended that the
Board hold all motions until further review.
Further discussion on deed restrictions, recreational
facilities and proposed agreement was held.
Meeting recessed for ten minutes and called back to
order at 10:05 P. M. Review of the proposed agreement con-
tinued and discussion was held on streets, parking areas and
meters.

Due to need of further review, the board recessed the
Lm meeting until Monday night, July 14th at 8:30 P. M. and re-
quested that the Attorney be present.
2. Reverend Stephens was the second item on the agenda.
Due to his failure to appear, the board tabled the subject
until the next regular meeting.
Meeting adjourned at 11:15 P. M.
