PZ 02-10-1976 Minutes of the Planning and Zoning Board Meeting Held February 10, 1976. Present: Ch. Bowness; Members Carter, McRobert, Thomas, Turner, Brooklyn, Peck Absent: None Meeting was called to order at 7:30 P. M. by Chairman Bowness. RICHARD GARDNER, owner of R & L Market located on Highway 50, returned as the board requested at the last meeting with a legal description and drawing showing the lot shape and proposed placing of a mobile home in relation to existing features on the property he is leasing (formerly known as A & H Produce). See attached. At the January 27 meeting he had requested permission to put a mobile home on the lot to occupy for security purposes. He stated that, although they are open 24 hours a day now, the need will be more pressing shortly when they get their liquor license, as they intend to change their business hours to 9:00 A. M. - 2:00 A. M. Mr. Thomas suggested that Mr. Gardner should file a petition for "Usage Permitted on Review." He also was in favor of setting the date for the public hearing for March 4, 1976, which is the earliest date available allowing time for proper notices to be published if Mr. Gardner comes in to file the petition immediately. RICHARD DAVIS did not appear. When Ch. Bowness called Mr. W. C. Davis, his father, he stated that he was not here on advice of Mr. Rhodes, City Attorney. Mr. Turner made the motion to accept the minutes of the previous meeting as read, seconded by Mr. Thomas. Vote was unanimous in favor. Mr. Carter made a motion to request that a copy of the minutes of the City Commission meetings be made available to the Planning and Zoning members at their meetings, seconded by Mr. Peck. Vote was unanimous in favor. Motion to adjourn was made by Mr. Turner at 8:50 P. M., seconded by Mr. Peck. Respectfully submitted, Je n G.
