contributing to a healthy lifestyle, building self esteem, teaching life
skills, and providing places for employment; and

opportunities for young people to live, grow, and development into
contributing members society; and
vjbe.e, Parks, Recreation activities and leisure experiences create lifelines and
continuous life experiences for older members of the community; and
viipeRea,e, parks, Recreation activities and leisure experience generate
opportunities for pay to come together and experience a sense of
community; and
woomeztop, Parks, Recreation activities and leisure experiences pay dividends to
communities by attracting businesses, jobs, and increasing home values;
and

volunteers in parks and recreation services; and

groups, and the entire community in ways which positively impact the

do hereby proclaim the Month of July 2011 as

in the City of Ocoee, and urge all citizens to get outside and enjoy the parks and
