Background Summary:
Members of the Citizen Advisory Council for Ocoee Police Department serve three -year terms. The Resolution
creating the Board allows no more than fifteen (15) members. The board currently has eight (8) members.
One application was recently submitted by Ms. Tammy Mullan.

Should the Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners appoint Tammy Mullan to the Citizen Advisory Council
for Ocoee Police Department (CACOPD)?
Recommendations
One application was recently submitted for appointment to the Citizen Advisory Council for Ocoee Police
Department (CACOPD); therefore staff recommends the City Commission consider appointing Tammy Mullan
to the Citizen Advisory Council for Ocoee Police Department with a term ending January 1, 2017.

4. Brief Summary of Qualifications and Experience:
As an Oncology Nurse I am part of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), a professional
organization of over 35,000 registered nurses dedicated to excellence in patient care,
as well as a member of its Local Chapter. I am also a member of our units' Hospital
Unit Practice Council (UPC) which serves as a shared governance model in health care.
As a resident of Ocoee I feel 1 have an obligation to the community in which I live,
therefore serving as a member on the Citizen's Advisory Council of Police Department
(CACOPD) will give me the opportunity to help bridge the gap between the citizens of
Ocoee and its law enforcement officers.
