Background Summary:
The West Orange Chamber of Commerce has requested the use of the Ocoee Community Lakeshore Center
for a "Business After Hours" (BAH) event on October 16, 2014. The city approved sponsoring a BAH in 2013 at
the community center, however the building was not completed on time and the event was held elsewhere.
Issue:
Should the Mayor and Commission sponsor the use of the Ocoee Lakeshore Center for Business After Hours
by the West Orange Chamber and approve the use of the Ocoee Lakeshore Center
Recommendations
Staff recommends the Mayor and City Commission approve the use of the Ocoee Lakeshore Center by the
West Orange Chamber for the Business After Hours event on October 16, 2014.

Financial Impact:
The city's sponsorship would consist of providing the community center at no cost only. The chamber will be
coordinating with an additional sponsor to provide funds for drinks and refreshments.
