MARCH 12, 2015
CALL TO ORDER — MARCH 12, 2015
City Clerk Eikenberry called the Canvassing Board to order at 2:09 p.m. in the office of the
Supervisor of Elections, 119 W. Kaley Street.
BOARD MEMBERS: Canvassing Board Members Jean Grafton, Victoria Laney, and Martha
Lopez- Anderson. Audit Team Members Diana Turner and Nichole DeRienzo.
ALSO PRESENT: City Clerk Eikenberry, City Attorney Cookson, Supervisor of Elections
Representatives, and Recording Clerk Sibbitt.
ABSENT: None.
PROVISIONALS
Provisional Ballots were held unopened until the meeting reconvened on March 12, 2015. There
are two (2) provisional ballots from precinct 2106 that need to be canvassed:
1- Voted wrong precinct
1- Voted absentee
City Clerk Eikenberry advised there are no provisional ballots that cannot be resolved that
would require waiting for owner evidence of eligibility, in accordance with FS 101.048(1), so the
Canvassing Board is able to move forward with the provisional ballots and certify the election.
Canvassing Board Member Grafton, seconded by Canvassing Board Member Laney,
moved to reiect provisional ballot for voter who was registered for precinct 4106; however,
voted at precinct 2106. Motion carried unanimously.
Canvassing Board Member Lopez- Anderson, seconded by Canvassing Board Member
Laney, moved to reiect provisional ballot for voter who had already voted by absentee
ballot. Motion carried unanimously.
CERTIFY THE ELECTION
Canvassine Board Member Lopez- Anderson, seconded by Canvassing B oard Member
Laney, moved to certify the election with Rosemary Wilsen winning the seat as District 2
Commissioner and Joel F. Keller winnine the seat as District 4 Commissioner. Motion
carried unanimously. (Certification Attached)
AUDIT TEAM
The random selection of the race and precinct to be audited was conducted by drawing of lots.
Canvassing Board Member Grafton pulled precinct 4106. The Audit Team was briefed on the

audit procedures. Diana Turner and Nichole DeRienzo began counting the precinct ballots for
District 4 and separating them into two piles, one for Joel F. Keller and one for George Oliver

Total Audited Precinct Ballots: 454
City Clerk Eikenberry and an SOE Representative compared the auditing committee
worksheet with the previous machine results, and all numbers matched. The Voting System Post -
Election Audit Report was certified and signed by the Canvassing Board. (Audit Report
Attached)
