still a great place to raise children, from the 500 citizens then, to the 32,000
plus here today, and
Our schools that serve our children are some of the best in Central
Florida, the recreation facilities for all are abundant from our wet parks
(lakes) to all of the other parks available to our citizens, and
(Crime statistics are among the lowest in Orange County, the Fire
Department is equipped and trained to handle every emergency, and
Vif)Q 31MIS6, 8000 and other services are constantly being upgraded to meet the
challenges of growth, we are ahead of other cities that have experienced
similar growth patterns, and
Ve as a government take pride in the fact that we are a leader in staying
on the edge of the ever evolving technology evolution with our own TV
station, Web site, and other pursuits that will constantly improve services
of all kinds including informing citizens while keeping taxes in line, and
W�O(IR(NN§, Ve as your public servants hold close to our hearts the pledge to be "User
Friendly" as a hallmark of why "Ocoee is the Center of Good Living," and
21.5 our city grows in population and international flavor, you and I, the
residents (new and old) hold the key to our future as a large city with small
town qualities, we must Love our Hometown and not lose the super
atmosphere we have now.
