Background Summary:
Members of the Citizen Advisory Council for Ocoee Police Department serve a three-year term. The Resolution
creating the Board allows no more than fifteen(15) members. Currently, the Board has nine (9) members.
One application has been received by Cory Garone who has shown an interest in being appointed to the Citizen
Advisory Council for Ocoee Police Department for a term ending January 2020.
Issue:
Should the Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners appoint Cory Garone to the Citizen Advisory Council for
Ocoee Police Department with a term ending January 2020?
Recommendations
Staff respectfully recommends that the Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners consider appointing Cory
Garone to serve on the Citizen Advisory Council for Ocoee Police Department for a three-year term ending
January 2020.
