Subject: Fencing at City Pond #5 with All-Rite Fencing Services, Inc. Commissioner Keller,

Background Summary:
City maintained Pond No. 5, located at the east end of Nicole Blvd. and the northern end of the
treatment plant property on Lake Meadow, has an un-fenced open northern border. Off road vehicles
have been accessing the property and damaging the pond slopes. Public Works proposes fencing the
northern property line to eliminate unauthorized vehicle access to the pond. Public Works proposes
utilizing Orange County Continuing Contract Y16-1075-LC, Fence Installation and Repair, with All-Rite
Fence Services, Inc. Public Works recommends approval to have the fence installed utilizing the
Orange County contract as the work is adequately funded in the Stormwater Division.
Issue:
Request the City Commission to approve fencing on City maintained Pond #5 with All-Rite Fence
through an existing Orange County Continuing Contract.
Recommendations:
Recommend approval to install 421 linear feet of 6-foot high galvanized fencing with top & bottom
tension wire on City maintained Pond #5 at $12.75 per linear foot for a total of $5,367.75, utilizing
Orange County Continuing Contract Y16-1075-LC, Fence Installation and Repair, with All-Rite Fence
Services, Inc.
