Background Summary:
The existing contract between the Florida Department of Transportation and City of Ocoee for the routine
maintenance of the State rights-of-way will expire on April 30, 2007. FDOT is requesting renewal of this
contract at $34,479.00. This amount represents a 3% increase from previous contract period. They are also
requesting that the renewal of the agreement period begin on May 1,2007 and end on April 30th, 2008.
Issue:
Should the Honorable Mayor and the Board of City Commissioners approve renewal of the contract with
FDOT (Contract # ANY67, State Job # 244298-1-72-06) for routine maintenance of State rights-of-way at
$34,479.007
Recommendations
Staff respectfully requests the Honorable Mayor and City Commission approve renewal of the Memorandum
of Agreement (Contract # ANY67, State Job # 244298-1-72-06) between FDOT and City of Ocoee at
$34,479.00; and authorize Mayor and City Clerk to execute the renewal agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE, this Agreement witnesseth that for and in consideration of the mutual benefits to flow each
to the other, the parties agree to a renewal of said original Agreement for a period beginning the 1st day of
May , 2007 and ending the 30th day of April , 2008
at a cost of $ 34,479.00
All terms and conditions of said original Agreement shall remain in force and effect for this renewal.
