BEHRENS, DIRECTOR OF PLANNING PAS DATE: AUGUST 14, 1991 SUBJECT: GOODMAN COMMERCIAL PARK - PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAN ISSUE Should the Honorable Mayor and Board of City Commissioners approve the Preliminary Engineering Plans for Goodman Commercial Park? BACKGROUND The 17. 3 acre subject parcel is located at the southeast corner of State Road 50 and Old Winter Garden Road. The site is characterized by flat topography with sandy, well-drained soils. Site access is provided by State Road 50 and Old Winter Garden Road. DISCUSSION The Development Review Committee reviewed and approved the Preliminary Engineering Plans for this development on July 19, 1991. There are no outstanding issues. PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION The Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously on August 13 , 1991 to recommend approval of the Preliminary Plan subject to the State Road 50 access being for right hand turns only out of the commercial park.
